The 1948 Stinson 108-2 project shown is the company plane for Wings and Rods. She should be up and going in 2016 with a new O-360 lycoming Bobcat conversion. I purchased this aircraft in Oaklahoma from my friend Rodger McAnally a flew it back to California a few years ago. I love the look and feel of the old 108s. Check out the progress of this plane under our pics page.
The 1947 Piper J-3 NC42960 shown throughout this web site is our familly plane. My son Scott, my father Bob and I rebuilt the cub in 2000. To date three kids have soloed the cub on their 16th birthdays. My son Scott soloed in 2003, Adin Boyd in 2010 and My daughter Masie in 2011. The cub is all stock complete with the A-65 and no electrical system. My daughter sure got the looks at the fuel island when she at 14 years old was hand starting the plane. The pic to the left is my dad, my daughter and me the day she soloed the cub.
